Presidential Turnout Shifts

Turnout is the amount of people who turn out in an election, so if a district has 80% turnout, it means 80% of eligible voters turned out and voted for one of the major party candidates.

This map shows turnout shifts from the last 3 Presidential Elections (2016, 2020, and 2024). You can view shifts from 2016 to 2020, 2020 to 2024, and 2016 to 2024. The geography used are ElectionCord’s 100K Districts, where each state is divided up into districts of roughly 100,000 people.

If you want to change the layer, just use the tooltip in the top right of the map. As with every 2024 map, no Maine as of 8/12/25.
